Mumbai's Radio Club now on terror radar

The reports have warned of a possible Fidayeen attack on Bombay Presidency Radio Club which has a pier surrounded by sea on three sides.

The Radio Club is easily approachable by sea and a 26/11 type attack can be possible.
An alert was issued     on Wednesday asking Radio Club to step up security and screen people and members visiting its premises, police said.

574th alert

This is the 574th alert issued by intelligence agencies this year, police said, adding local police station in Colaba has been informed to keep a strict vigil in and around the Radio club.

Meanwhile, tight security continues at Hotel Taj, Hotel Oberoi-Trident and Chhatrapati Shivaji Termius which     were targeted in the 26/11 attack.

The special court, hearing the terror attack case, is also placed under heavy security by city police and Indo-Tibetan Border Police, police said.
