The youth of today know what they want to be seen in. Be it sporting outfits that help them stand out in the crowd or reflecting tradition, college students like to experiment with fashion.

Some of the youngsters are crazy about brands while others do not think twice before mixing and matching styles.

Alexandria Syiem

This first-year communication student from Mount Carmel College is wearing a dress from Alexander McQueen that she got in Paris, and shoes from the Tibetan Market.

When I decide to get something fancy, I make sure I get something that’s branded because they will be of the best quality and last longer.

I wear them occasionally. Fashion to me isn’t everything but it is important. It also gives other people hints as to what things a person is fond of.

Shivam Nagpal

The second-year engineering student from JSS College of Engineering wore a plaid shirt from Globus with jeans from Lee, jacket from Peter England and shoes from Puma.

I’m not very choosy when it comes to clothing. I pick up whatever I think looks good on me and feels comfortable. That’s how I think fashion should be defined — casual and comfortable.

Though I’m not very brand conscious and shop on the streets a lot, I like Lee quite a bit.

Tarun Kumar

This second-year civil engineering student from CMR Institute of Technology, is wearing a striped shirt from Park Avenue, along with jeans from Levis and shoes from Puma.

It's summer so I like wearing light colours and anything that will make me feel comfortable.

I also sometimes add a pair of sunglasses to top it off and like folding my sleeves. When it comes to clothing, I like to keep it casual with shorts, polo shirts and denims.
