Two commit suicide

Two persons committed suicide in separate incidents in the City on Thursday. 

Prasanna Kumar, 25, committed suicide at his residence on 6th Cross in Kamakshipalya on Thursday night, according to the police. 

The incident came to light when his mother returned home from work and found his body hanging from the ceiling. Kumar, who eked out a living by ironing clothes, in his death note stated that no one is responsible for his death, police said adding that he was suffering from asthma and had borrowed money from friends for his brother’s wedding. 

The Kamakshipalya police have registered a case.

 In another incident, V Vivek, 22, committed suicide at his residence in Vijinapura under Ramamurthy Nagar police limits.

Vivek, who hailed from Tamil Nadu, was working as a delivery boy for a LPG dealer  for the past 11 months, the police said. His colleagues went to check, when he didn’t report for duty on Thursday and found him hanging, the police added. The exact cause for him taking the extreme step is yet to be ascertained. 

The Ramamurthy Nagar police have registered a case.
