<p>She is known for her power-packed performances in 'Dev D', 'Sahib Biwi Aur Gangster' and 'Paan Singh Tomar' but Mahie Gill says she never wanted to become an actress.<br /><br /></p>.<p>The 38-year-old actress said the audience's love pushes her everytime to sign a new project.<br /><br />"I never wanted to become an actress but I am thankful to God that whatever I am doing and have done in the past people are appreciating my work. So, I just take the dare and come onscreen," Mahie told PTI.<br /><br />Last seen in paranormal comedy film 'Gang of Ghosts', Mahie, who is currently filming Punjabi movie 'Carry on Jatta 2', wants to try out different characters as an artiste.<br /><br />"I want to do something that excites me. If I don't like a particular role or a script I don't do it. I need something interesting everytime," she added.<br /><br />The actress was in the Capital to promote hair care brand Pantene's new range. Mahie feels that it is difficult to manage hair in metropolitan cities.<br /><br />"I had good hair when I was in Chandigarh. But when I moved to Mumbai, my hair quality deteriorated due to the pollution. I do not experiment much with my hair and have been using the shampoo since childhood," she said.<br /><br />Mahie has so far shared screen space with Irrfan Khan, Abhay Deol , Kalki Koechlin, Jimmy Shergil and Priyanka Chopra among others.</p>
