Not surprising that FIFA is the latest hot trend, the enterprising have found yet another reason to keep the market flush with quirky FIFA accessories, posters and trinkets et al.

“We are getting an excellent response from the customers as the FIFA fever rises among Indian football fans. The most sought-after products are the ones that have Messi, Ronaldo, Runi and Neymar printed on them,” says Vikram Chopra, CEO and co-founder, Fabfurnish.com.
And their laptop skins and cushion covers are getting the most traction. “While our daily visits are over 1.25 lakh on an average, we are witnessing a 20 per cent hike in website traffic due to FIFA fever.
Ten per cent increase in sales is what we expect during FIFA, as our merchandise is already creating quite a buzz on all our social media platforms, as well as the website,” says Vikram.
Similarly Fashionandyou.com is also witnessing an increase of 15-20 per cent in the overall sales, especially FIFA merchandise.
“Our range of products for this event includes mouse pads, posters, wall clock, wallets etc. along with your favourite country and players print. Coasters, mugs and cushion covers are selling like hot cakes,” says Suminder Pal, general manager, sales
and sourcing.
Other online portals like shopclues. com, FreeKaMaal.com and Printvenue.com, are just creating buzz in the market by selling what they are directly sourcing from the retailers. To make all these interesting products a part of your daily routine all you need is to shell out Rs 350-900.
