Making learning a fun experience

noble effort

It was celebration time at the Rotary Bangalore Vidhyalaya at Nagadevanahalli, Kengeri recently.

The Rotary Bangalore Vidhyalaya was started 50 years ago as a small school to provide quality education to the underprivileged children around Nagadevanahalli and today it has achieved high school status with over 500 students and 25 quality teachers.

With an emphasis on education of children, the Rotary Club of Bangalore District 3190 has taken a great step to organise this e-shiksha training.

The programme was inaugurated by lighting the ceremonial lamp. Rotary President Ramkumarr Sheshu’s dream plan to revolutionise the education system by introducing e-shiksha training came into action on this day. With the help of Rotarian Arjun Menda and Menda Trust Foundation along with the active participation from CLT India and Selco, the project was a great success.

In this system, classes will be conducted through computer presentation in the form of audio and visuals by trained teachers.

This system of learning will make it more interesting for children and a fun learning experience. This system will also be of great advantage to teachers in conducting revisionclasses.

This system has been implemented from Class 5 to 10. Harish Hande, Bhagya Rangachar and Rotarian Mohan Gurjar addressed the gathering. Rotarian Vivek Prabhu and Rotarian Suken Padmanaba were also present at the event.

Rotarian Srichand Rajpal had organised refreshments for the event and the programme concluded with vote of thanks by Shalini Prabhu.
