The petite actress Radhika Pandit is back in action with two new assignments —18th Cross and Krishnan Love Story. The damsel seems thrilled about her role in both the films. She seem to have grabbed a substantial character in both. The release of 18th Cross, her debut was stalled because producer Chikkanna passed away. Now after Suresh Gowda took charge, the movie is ready for release.

About some of the challenges the movie posed to her, Radhika says, “18th Cross is very special for me as it is my first movie, I would like to call it as my entry into Sandalwood. It was in this movie that I first faced the film camera.” Radhika also claims to be lucky when shooting as the team made her feel at home.

When asked about the chemistry between her and Deepak, the hero of the movie, she says, “He is my first hero and he’s brilliant as an actor. He was there to guide and support me, he taught me all the technical terms which are used when shooting for a movie and also told me about all the dos and don’ts.” Talking about her co-star Vinaya Prasad, she says, “she is my favourite actress, I really admire her. She never makes a co-actor feel uncomfortable and teaches you a lot, off screen as well.”

On Krishnan Love Story, the shooting for which is half way through, Radhika says “I am enjoying the shooting. It is a welcome change for me, something which I have not done before.” About her role, “it was difficult to act in this role, as all my previous roles were classy such as a college girl or corporate girl, something which I have experienced but this is different. I had to work really hard for this role,” she says and adds, “when I listened to the story it was haunting and I had no second thoughts about acting in it.” Well Radhika, we wish you all the best.
