<p>Inaugurating the state -evel Yuvajanotsava in Tarikere on Tuesday, she said that youth should find opportunities and get into self-employment.<br /><br />Deputy Commissioner Narayanaswamy said that Yuvajanotsava will provide a platform for the exchange of ideas and culture among the youth.<br /><br />MLA D S Suresh said that it is for the first time that such a programme is being held in Tarikere and hence youth should participate in large numbers and make the programme successful. State Youth Affairs and Sports Director Shivananjaiah, District Director B V Vishwanath, Town Municipal Council T K Ramesh, Taluk Panchayat President Nethravathi Ramesh and others were present. Earlier a process was held from Salumaradamma Temple to the venue at Open theatre. Hundreds of troupes of performers took part in the procession from various parts of the state.<br /></p>
