The agents of change

As part of the ‘Ryan Food Bucket Challenge’, Ryan International School, Kundalahalli collected food items like rice, dal, ragi, flour, sugar, potatoes, onions, biscuits and chocolates from students and teachers and distributed to children from various orphanages.

The Ryan Group of Institutions is socially committed to empower the student community in all spheres. The group has undertaken several initiatives in support of the needy.

The aim of this challenge is to mobilise over one million kilogram of food and distribute it to various orphanages and NGOs across the country. This is aimed to be a nation-wide programme and the group hopes to involve the public in addition to all those involved with the Ryan group.

The programme is also intended to make students sensitive to issues around them and be alive to the situation of the less fortunate. The group focusses on inculcating the importance of social responsibility among students and stakeholders helping them develop an attitude of selfless service.

On the occasion, Ryan Pinto, CEO, Ryan International Groups of Institution, said, “This initiative has been started to bring to light the fact that if we work collectively, we can make a big difference to the lives of many. Through this challenge, we let our students become agents of change in the society.”
