<p>Learning will become fun in government schools of Rajasthan where education will soon be imparted through a quiz based e-learning model, developed on the lines of famous entertainment show “Kaun Banega Crorepati” (KBC). <br /><br /></p>.<p>The initiative has been named as “Project Utkarsh”, and implemented on a pilot basis in 12 schools of Udaipur district. <br /><br />Unprecedented results and improvements in learning capacity of students has led the state government to introduce Project Utkarsh to other schools of the state in a phased manner. <br /><br />Under the project, the entire syllabus for class 9 and 10 of state board is to be converted into interactive quiz-based modules.<br /><br />School teachers of respective subjects and classes are to be trained and regular quiz sessions conducted for the students on the school computers.<br /><br />Later, students would take individual quizzes on the computers. <br /><br />The exercise showed 67 per cent improvement in performance and knowledge level of the students. <br /><br />“The project was initially implemented in government schools located in tribal areas of the Udaipur district. It was the first time children worked on school computers.<br /><br /> Knowledge of students was tested on certain parameters before and after the implementation of the project. Results were amazing,” said Vijay Vyas of Moinee foundation.</p>
