Pralhad Joshi lambasts at State government

Last Updated 19 October 2014, 17:36 IST

State BJP President Pralhad Joshi said that continuing the strides of victory of the Lok Sabha polls, the voters have given mandate in favour of BJP in Maharashtra and Haryana.

Speaking to mediapersons after taking part in BJP Vijayotsava held in Mangalore on Sunday, he said that the strategies of BJP National President Amith Shah have worked.

Inspite of losing the position of a opposition in the Parliament, the Congress led government in the State is engaged in hate politics. The development works have come to a standstill. The police officers are acting as the agents of the Congress. Inspite of protest, the government has failed to act against Kavoor SI for assaulting a Bajrang Dal worker.

“The police force have become inactive. Even during the emergency, the police did not act like the way they are acting now. If the government fails to suspend the cop, then the BJP will intensify its protest.”

Continuing the hate politics, the State government has rejected Somasekhara Commission report on church attacks. The report had given clean chit to Sangh Parivar, Joshi said.

The Congress government has been engaged in conspiring against Sangh Parivar members in one or other cases.

“Artificial shortage of power has been created in the State with an aim to purchase electricity at high rate. Inspite of all the dams being full to facilitate the production of hydroelectricity in the State, the villages bear the brunt of load shedding,” he said.

Joshi flayed the assault on honest IAS officer. The corruption charges against the previous officer at Administrative Training Institute should be probed. A high-level probe should be initiated.

The BJP workers celebrated the victory of the BJP in Maharashtra and Haryana by bursting crackers and distributing sweets on the occasion.
