The first edition of Karnataka International Children’s Film Festival (KINCHIFF) will be held from November 14 to 20, throughout Karnataka.

Organised by the Karnataka Chalanachitra Academy, on behalf of the Government of Karnataka, the objective is to use visual medium as a tool to educate and enthrall children.

Synchronised screenings, of about 15 films from India and abroad, will take place in about 30 district centres  The primary audiences for the festival are children from government schools, teachers, educators and delegates involved in film production.

The films will be screened under two categories, for kids from the age of six to ten and to those from the age of 11 to 16 years. The films that will be screened include ‘Taina – a Origem’, ‘Yellow Colt’, ‘Journey to the Beginning of Time’ and ‘Cinderella Moon’.
