<p> Minister for Health and Family welfare U T Khader on Wednesday took an accident victim to hospital in his car.<br /><br /></p>.<p>The minister, who was on his way back from the Kempegowda International Airport, noticed a traffic jam on Yelahanka flyover. An auto driver, Stalin, a resident of K G Halli, was severly injured as his auto had toppled.<br /><br />He immediately took the injured in his car to hospital. “We thought of taking him to Columbia Asia Hospital. However, we rushed him to K C General Hospital so as to reduce financial burden on him,” Khader said.<br /><br />This is the second time that the health minister has helped an accident victim reach hospital in time in his car. A similar incident had taken place about a month ago when the minister, who was on his way to an iftar party at the Palace Grounds, had lent a helping hand to a couple.</p>
