Karnataka crash out despite victory

The loss nothwithstanding, Punjab made it through to the quarterfinal stage along with Railways and Services.

Karnataka men, who lost their opening two encounters, had a bad start to the final group game losing the opening set 20-25. However, the State men bounced back to win 20-25, 25-19, 25-23, 19-25, 15-13.
