They danced their way through to the stage and the world stage at that. Sai and Kirthi, the salsa couple also danced into the new years with specially flown in dancers from Spain.
Rated as the sixth best dancing couple in the world, Sai and Kirthi grooved to the tune of a popular Spanish number at a special dance preview of a bigger event slated on New Year’s Eve hosted by Neferrtiti at Chancery Pavilion. The party had international artists, performers and entertainers from across the world perform, for the first time in the City. The ambience was recreated to resemble Spain and Ibiza, transporting the audience into a different feel altogether. The Ibiza stilt walkers and Spanish girls from Ibiza also made a special appearance.
At the recent sneak peek, Kirthi was dressed in a white and cheetah skin backless top and dazzled on stage. Sai was no less showy with black trousers and a white top, studded with gleaming white stones. Their steps were perfect and in sync with each other. Not an expression was out of place. Kirthi says, “Salsa is a culture of Spain and we are all set to bring it down to the City by giving the best performance and we will be there to entertain everyone throughout the night.”
