Briefing reporters, Group Chairman Sunil Mantri said “The market is showing positive signs. We have received 100 bookings even before the launch and are confident of selling the project completely.”

To be completed in 24 months, the 500 apartment integrated residential township will boast of several amenities like swimming pool, toddlers pool, children’s play area, a club house et al, besides claiming proximity to IT firms and parks.

Pointing out that about 70-80 per cent of the 100 bookings is from IT executives and firms, Mantri said that this is a positive recovery trend, as the Bangalore market was largely affected with the IT people refraining from purchasing houses.

Further, he said that the firm has at least about five projects lined up for the Bangalore market in 2010 and has earmarked a total investment of Rs 500 crore for the same. He said that the firm will launch Mantri Acqunox, between April and June and Mantri Megapolis, a mega township with 2,000 flats during August-September period.

Meanwhile, the firm also announced that it has created a new brand image for itself and would be called the ‘Sunil Mantri Group’ from Mantri Realty Private Limited.
