Ravi's wife Kusuma ill

Kusuma, IAS officer D K Ravi’s wife, had to be rushed to hospital on Saturday after she fell ill following dehydration.

According to Ravi’s father-in-law Hanumantharayappa, Kusuma fell ill after she had stopped eating food. “She is in extreme grief. She refused to take food and water. She turned weak and had to be rushed to the hospital as she is dehydrated,” he said.

Kusuma, who was later brought home, continued to remain ill even on Sunday. “Her condition had improved slightly in the morning. However, she had high fever in the evening again and is being treated at home,” Hanumanthrayappa said. Hanumanthrayappa, former president of the erstwhile Rajarajeshwarinagar City Municipal Council, lives in Mallathalli in Nagarabhavi.
