The Gujarat handloom and Handicraft exhibition is on at Prema Chandra Kalyana Mahal, No 264, near Ashoka Pillar, 2nd Block, till May 20 from 10 am to 9 pm.

The exhibition displays a special collection of Gujarat saris, Odishaarts and paintings, Odisha filigree jewellery, utility brass metal, wooden crafts, handloom items, bed sheets, dress materials, tops and Kashmir shawls, Kolkata saris, terracotta articles, ‘meenakari’ stones, gold-plated jewellery, Madhubani paintings, Gujarat tops and dress materials and Rajasthani paintings.

There are also fascinating decorative knick-knacks made from mirror work like bags, letter stand with elephant and floral motifs, decorative puppets made from cloth and velvet, mirror and thread work, wall hangers, file holders and mats.

There are also various attractive materials made from jute such as jute chair, bags, wall hangings, jute frames, jute hair clips and other attractive items.
