'Yettinahole project to be completed in three years'

 Chief Minister Siddaramaiah on Thursday said the Yettinahole project which will cater to the drinking water needs of Bengaluru Rural, Kolar, Chikkaballapur and Tumakuru, will be completed by three years.

Speaking after a review meeting of the project, along with the legislators of the four districts and officials, Siddaramaiah said the Yettinahole project had been marked as top priority project of the government.

Sources said the government is yet to take a decision on the waiving off the conduct of social impact assessment for the project, since, such a move would be in conflict with the Congress party’s stand.
