While rain played spoilsport in the IPL 8 match between Royal Challengers Bangalore and Delhi Daredevils in Bengaluru, it gave Virat Kohli time to catch up with his girlfriend, Bollywood actress Anushka Sharma.
In what was seen as a clear violation of the Anti Corruption Security protocol, Kohli was seen in the coridor next to the VIP box chatting with Anushka.
The rules state that the game is alive till the last ball has ben bowled and players can't mingle with people or leave the designated area during delays or stoppages.
Rajiv Shukla, Chairman of the IPL, was quoted by Hindustan Times as saying, "So far I haven't received anything from the ACSU but if it sends a report and if it amounts to a breach of protocol, he will be issued a warning not to repeat it."
Kohli has had several run-ins with the code of conduct during his career.
