Back after a learning trip

Actor Vinay Rajkumar is not the kind who rests on his laurels. After the success of his debut  film ‘Siddhartha’, Vinay has been in Mumbai for the last one and half months for what he calls a “learning vacation.”

He has been getting private tutoring in a few stunts, action moves and ‘jhatkas’. “We have hand-picked the best dance and stunt masters from Mumbai. They come home to teach me the dances and fights,” says Vinay. He confesses that he practises his stunts on the beaches in Mumbai.

“It’s hard to practise on the beaches. You can move so swiftly and so easily. You have to work doubly hard to perfect the moves. And if you get your stunts right on the beaches, then you can do it anywhere,” he states.

Vinay is also working out in the gym to gain some weight, “I had a lean look for ‘Siddhartha’ and after that, my family members and fans wanted me to put on some weight. My new film demands that I gain some weight, so I am working towards it,” he shares.

This young actor is not content with what he knows and wants to learn as much as he can.
“Learning never ends. There are new developments everyday and I believe that one must always be updated with the happenings around,” he says.  The teaser video for Vinay’s next project, ‘R-The King’ has been released. It has Vinay armed with swords of fire, face covered with only his eyes exposed.

“The look hasn’t been finalised but the teaser has aroused a lot of curiosity among the  movie-goers. The movie is being directed by Prem,” he informs.

Mumbai has fascinated Vinay no end. “I usually hang out with a bunch of friends after work and we explore places of interest. Every street corner has something new to offer and looks like the City never sleeps,” he sums up.
