JOIN USDisclosing this to reporters, JD(S) chief H D Deve Gowda said the new office-bearers of the party will be announced shortly.
Sindhia had quit the JD(S) a few years ago opposing the party joining hands with the BJP to form a coalition Government. He had joined the BSP.
The party already has two working presidents - A B Patil and Iqbal Ansari. Sources said, Iqbal Ansari is likely to be made the Vice-President.
Deve Gowda to tour State
Deve Gowda said he will tour the State from January 23 and extend support to protests being staged by farmers in various districts against the Government.
Besides, he said he will tour all flood-hit areas and inspect the rehabilitation work.
He further said the Government had recently announced that Rs 1.50 lakh worth of investments will come to the State.
