<p>The Bangalore Metropolitan Transport Corporation has introduced city bus service on Avenue Road on a pilot basis.<br /><br /></p>.<p>The timings of the City buses to Avenue Road from various locations are as follows:-<br />From NR Colony (9.20 am, 9.35 am), Thyagarajanagar (9.30 am), AGS Extensionb (8.45 am) and Vidyapeeta Circle (9.30 am). The BMTC has also introduced city bus service on BVK Iyengar Road. The buses will ply from Majestic via Freedom Park, BVK Iyengar Road, KR Market, Victoria Hospital and Abhinaya theatre, back to Majestic. These buses will operate 20 trips from 7.50 am to 7.50 pm. The number of buses on the route would be increased depending on the response from passengers, the BMTC has said.</p>
