Amit's all-round show spurs Cambridge to fine victory

Amit Verma’s splendid all-round effort (68 and 5/30) was the highlight in Cambridge Cricket Club’s 21-run win over Chintamani Sports Association, Chintamani, in the KSCA Group I, Division III league for Nassur Memorial Shield.

Batting first, Cambridge CC made 272 all out in 49.4 overs. Apart from Amit’s half century, Dev Patil (46) and Rahul (37) made valuable contributions. Nidhuvan G (3/36) and C Raghu (3/43) shared six wickets between them for Chintamani.

In reply, Chintamani batsmen were troubled by Amit’s five-wicket haul and were bundled out for 251 in 49.4 overs.
