JOIN USAccording to a press release, as many as 40 Physiotherapy colleges from across the country took part in the competitions. The students also presented posters on various themes in the competitive category. More than 120 posters on different topics were presented.
Earlier, President of IAP Dr Ali Irani inaugurated the Students Forum, the first event of the conference. Organising Secretary Prof U T Ifthikar Ali was present.
Pre-conference session
Meanwhile, a pre-conference session on ‘Movement disorders’ was organised at the Dr M V Shetty College of Physiotherapy. General Secretary of IAP Dr Sanjiv K Jha inaugurated the session, who requested the Physiotherapists to share their skill for the development of the country. Founder of Dr MV Shetty Memorial Trust Dr M Ramgopal Shetty presided. Principal of the College Dr Susan Varghese, Resource person Prof Meg E Morris and others were present.
The main conference will be inaugurated at Dr T M A Pai Convention Centre at 9 am on January 22. IAP Cricket League matches will be held at Yenepoya University Grounds on the same day at 6 pm. At the same time, there will be a cultural evening at Manasa Water Park in Pilikula, the release added.
