Man rapes minor daughter

The police arrested the accused Muniswamy Painter after the girl filed a complaint.

Sources said that Muniswamy, a resident of Indiranagar, had allegedly raped his daughter, who was studying in ninth standard. Due to fear, the girl did not disclose it to anyone but when she became pregnant her grandmother noticed certain changes, which forced the girl to recall the incident to the latter. As the neighbours got to know of the incident, they caught Muniswamy, tied him to a pole and thrashed him.
