<p> A Government of India initiative, RRE was launched to create awareness about HIV/AIDS. Having travelled through four States, the RRE will make its entry into the State from Belgaum and will stop at 11 stations in 11 districts till Feb 22 - Belgaum, Hubli, Hebsuru, Koppal, Bellary, Raichur, Chikjajur, Birur, Tumkur, Kolar and Udupi. <br /> <br />"The stations were chosen depending on the vulnerability of the districts, feasibility of the stations as the train would halt for at least a day and cover places that were not included in Phase I, last year," said Daman Ahuja, national consultant (RRE), National AIDS Control Organisation, here on Thursday. <br /><br />Unlike phase I that halted at 41 stations in 55 districts, RRE intends to cover 141 districts by stopping at 152 stations in the country. <br /><br />Terming it as the first campaign of its kind in the world, he said that Phase II with a budget of Rs 20 crore was rolled on December 1, 2009.</p>
