Three youths from Bengaluru met watery grave at Muthathi, a popular picnic spot in Malavalli taluk on Sunday.
The deceased have been identified as Santhosh (22), Vijay (27) and Prasanna (26), all residents of Bengaluru. It is said that an 11-member group had come on a picnic to Muthathi on Saturday and had stayed overnight.
On Sunday, the three youths were washed away when they went to Cauvery river for swimming.The bodies are yet to be retrieved. Halagur police have registered a case.
