<p>At least 25 CPM activists were injured in a police lathi charge on Thursday when they were marching towards Lalbazar, police headquarters. <br /><br /></p>.<p>The Left activists were protesting against a similar incident of lathi charge during a march to the state secretariat on August 27.<br /><br />CPM state secretary Surjya Kanta Mishra, also the leader of the Opposition in the state assembly, said that a large number of party activists were seriously injured after the police charged at them. “Our central committee member Dipak Dasgupta received head injuries. <br />Adequate women constables were missing and policemen charged at women activists,” he said.</p>
