Ravi had allegdely elbowed Yadwinder in the heat of the game and the latter responded rather rashly by slapping Ravi on the face. Veteran ONGC centre Murali Krishna also rushed in to his team-mate’s defence. The incident forced the refree to disqualify all three players from the game. <br /><br />However, not letting it affect their game, Income Tax gave a dominating performance to defeat ONGC and emerge champions. Riding on Akilan Pari’s impressive three-pointers, Income Tax galloped to a 20-10 lead at the end of the first quarter.
