<p>A 45-year-old woman who was the owner of a small printing press was murdered by two unidentified assailants at her rented office in east Delhi’s Shakarpur on Wednesday afternoon.<br /><br />The victim has been identified as Nisha Khan.<br /><br />According to police, the incident took place around 2 pm when two unidentified men entered her rented office on the pretext of discussing some business with the owner.<br /><br />Khan offered tea to the duo which they readily agreed.</p>.<p>Out of the two employees of the press who were there, one was sent by Khan to get some tea for the guests.<br /><br />Slit her throat<br />As soon as the employee left the office, one of the men held the second employee hostage at gunpoint and in the meantime, the other one slit Khan’s throat with a knife.<br />Both the accused fled from the spot after murdering Khan. <br /><br />Brought dead<br />The employees then made a police control room call following which police rushed the victim to a nearby hospital, where she was declared brought dead.<br /><br />Police also said the assailants robbed one of the employees of Rs 8,000.<br />According to police, Nisha Khan’s husband had died few years ago.<br /><br />Living with her three children in West Vinod Nagar, she had taken a room for rent in Shakarpur to start the printing press where she employed two people.<br /><br />Police said she was into a book-binding business. Police suspect that someone known to the victim could be behind the murders.<br /><br />A case of murder has been registered with Shakarpur police station under section 302 of the Indian Penal Code.<br /><br />Police are talking to the two employees who saw the murderers to know more about the incident.<br />Three children and some relatives of the deceased are also being questioned to find out more about the incident.<br /></p>
