<p> The High Court of Karnataka on Wednesday reserved orders with regard to a petition on denotification of 4.2 acres of land in Benniganahalli favouring Energy Minister D K Shivakumar.<br /><br /></p>.<p>The matter is about a complaint filed by Kabbale Gowda and T J Abraham in the Lokayukta court, against denotification of 4.2 acres of land at Benniganahalli in Bengaluru East taluk. The land was purchased by Shivakumar and got converted for residential purpose. <br /><br />Shivakumar later entered into a joint agreement with Puravankara Builders. The land was denotified by the then chief minister B S Yeddyurappa. <br /><br />The Lokayukta police had registered a case against the Shivakumar and six others under the Prevention of Corruption Act, Karnataka Restriction of Transfer of Land Act, 1991 and the Indian Penal Code.</p>
