JOIN USA fine all-round performance from Keerthi set up BWSSB Employee Association’s massive 209-run victory over South Western Railway (SWR), Mysuru in the quarterfinals of the KSCA Group II, Division III tournament here.
Batting first, BWSSB EA piled up a strong total of 292 all out in 39.2 overs largely on the back of a 148 from Keerthi. RD Venkatesh also contributed to the team’s total with a half-century (81). Girish B was the most successful bowler for SWR with figures of four for 61.
In response, SWR were bundled out for a lowly 83 in 14.4 overs. Keerthi once again did the damage, bagging five for 31.
