Graphics on the runway

Seeking cues from Don Ed Hardy’s graphic tattoo designs and sketches, ‘Ed Hardy’ as a brand has tried to weave graphics into the wardrobes of many. It has varying designs, from daring bold inks to lean sombre prints. The latest collection, an assortment of designs inspired from rock ‘n’ roll, biking and body art, will leave consumers inspired and glamourised at the same time.

Stylist speaks

Mithilesh Nyathappa says, “‘Ed Hardy’, true to its style with tattooed prints, is slightly bold and almost sexy and edgy in its women’s collections. Loads of blacks, greys and whites, with a splash of red either as a whole or in the form of rose prints, give one the option to choose from the basics — tees to polos. The collection with studs and reverts on jackets and denims makes the biker girl in you desire them all. With the latest fashion from the streets of New York, the shorts and jersey feel jackets take the collection to a different level. With all this to choose from — a girl has no option but to feel like a rockstar!”
