<div>The Anti-Corruption Bureau (ACB), through its first FIR, on Monday arrested three public servants in Bengaluru in connection with demand and acceptance of bribe. <br /><br />The officials arrested are: Taluk development officer Rajashekhar, office accountant Srinivas and a typist Shanthamma. The arrested members work at the Karnataka Maharshi Valmiki Tribes Development Corporation Limited. <br /><br />The complaint filed by P H Ramu stated that he had sought for a subsidy loan of Rs one lakh from the corporation. But, the accused government officials demanded a bribe of Rs 7,000 to release the subsidy amount of Rs 35,000. <br /><br />The trap was laid by the ACB officials and the three were arrested at the corporation’s office at Sampangiram Nagar. <br /><br />The arrested were produced before the Lokayukta special court. They now remain in the judicial custody. <br /><br /></div>
