Royalbison Autorentals India Private Limited on Monday launched two-wheeler rental service in the city. The company offers gearless scooters in 25 locations at Rs 18 per hour. The user has to book the scooter through its app. Abhishek C Shekar, Co-Founder and Director, said commuting on their scooters was cheaper than other modes of transportation.
The user has to upload the proof of address and driving licence on the app by paying the prescribed fee. Once the request is approved, a confirmation message will be sent to the user. Shekar said the company has plans to introduce the service in other states also. Ramana Reddy, principal secretary to Transport department and P Ravi Kumar, Additional Chief Secretary to Energy department, launched the service.
