JOIN USSeveral parts of the state received heavy rains on Monday. Sudden showers caught people unawares in Chikkamagaluru. The town received moderate rains bringing relief from the scorching sun.Kadrimidri, Malalooru, Sirigapura, Aldoor, Vastare, Avathi, Mallandooru Mudigere and Kalasa too experienced rainfall. Mangaluru and surrounding areas experienced rain for more than 30 minutes towards the evening.
Moderate rains lashed various parts of Shivamogga district. Shivamogga, Hosanagar, Bhadravathi received good spell of rains in the afternoon. The rains that started around 4:10 pm lashed Shivamogga city for nearly 40 minutes. Sagar, Shikaripur and Thirthahalli had cloudy weather towards the evening.
T Narasipur in Mysuru district received rains for than an hour. With underground drainage clogged, several roads in the town were waterlogged.
It rained heavily in Gadag and surrounding areas on Monday. Copious rains have triggered agricultural activities in the district. Koppal received rains for an hour towards the evening.
