The BJP on Monday released a conduct certificate of deputy superintendent of police M K Ganapathi issued by the police, which grades him as a  “very good officer” .

According to the document signed on May 28, 2015 by then deputy commissioner of police (Intelligence) Bengaluru city H T Shekar in his capacity as the reviewing authority, Ganapathi’s conduct has been graded as “very good”. The grading has been accepted by senior IPS officer BNS Reddy in his capacity as the accepting authority.

The review also grades Ganapathi’s general assessment, attendance, state of health and use of Kannada language in official work as “good”.

Reading out the report in the Legislative Assembly on Monday, BJP member R Ashoka said the document demolishes the government’s claim that Ganapathi was emotionally depressed.
