A teenaged girl, on her first visit to the High Court, got into trouble after she clicked a photo of the High Court judges during the court proceedings. Unaware of the rules of the court, Zubeida Sharief, who stood at the door of a division bench comprising Justice Jayant Patel and Justice S N Satyanarayana, clicked a photo using her mobile phone. Use of mobile phones in the High Court is banned.

Observing her, Justice Satyanarayana called her and questioned her and after checking her mobile phone, it was found that she had clicked a photo of the judges. The judge orally asked the court officers to confiscate her phone and directed the girl to stay at the court's security office till five in the evening till the court proceedings end.

Later, she was asked to give an apology letter for using the phone to take a photo inside the court hall. Her father said that his daughter had visited the court for the first time and out of excitement, clicked the photo. The girl, who missed her lunch, was warned by the judge not to repeat the act and her phone was returned.
