Ruckus over parking ends up in murder

A 28-year-old youth was stabbed to death over a dispute on parking an autorickshaw, in Prakash Nagar on Sunday night.

The deceased was identified as Dharma, a resident of Prakash Nagar. He was an autorickshaw driver.

Dharma, who had lent money to his friend in Rajajinagar, had gone there to collect it. He had parked his autorickshaw in front of a bar on Dr Rajkumar Road. A few youths picked an argument with him over parking his autorickshaw and attacked him with lethal weapons. Dharma managed to escape and went to KC General Hospital for treatment, said the police. Dharma came out of the hospital after his treatment. The suspects, who were waiting for him outside, stabbed him repeatedly and absconded. He died on the spot due to massive internal bleeding, added the police.

The police are analysing the CCTV footage to establish identity of the suspects.
