JOIN USChief Minister Siddaramaiah and KPCC President G Parameshwara are scheduled to visit Delhi on September 2 to hold discussion with the Congress high command on nominating heads to various boards and corporations.
A source in the party said the high command has asked the two leaders to bring a list of probable candidates for the nomination. The post of head of 82 boards and corporations are currently vacant. KPCC working president Dinesh Gundu Rao will also accompany them, the source added.
The chief minister wants to nominate select party MLAs to important boards and corporations. He is said to have shortlisted 20 MLAs for the posts, the source said.Besides, the leaders are likely to discuss about filling two vacant berths in the council of ministers. Appointment of new KPCC president is likely to come up for discussion, the source added.
