Last Updated 24 September 2016, 19:51 IST
More than 72 hours after five to six suspected terrorists were spotted by schoolchildren in Uran of Raigad district, the Navi Mumbai police continued with its search operation. However, there has been no success so far.

“Operations are continuing,” Navi Mumbai Police chief Hemant Nagrale said in a tweet on Saturday evening. Meanwhile, three truckers from Kashmir, who were wearing military-type fatigues were mistaken for terrorists and had to go through a tough time at Panvel in Raigad.

The incident occurred near Gavhanphata when the trio was found near a container truck and spotted by CISF men. They were taken to the Panvel police station for questioning. They were former Armymen who are now working as truckers. Later, the manager of the transport company was called, who verified them as its workers.
