Morarji schools herald social justice, says ZP vice-president

Speaking after inaugurating the annual day celebrations at the Moraji Desai Model Residential School in Kandavara on Wednesday, Venkatesh called upon students to shun inferiority complex and achieve their goals in life surpassing all obstacles with grit and determination.

Zilla Panchayat deputy secretary Zulfikarulla said that the government has been providing quality infrastructure to Morarji residential schools and called upon students to make use of the facilities available to come up in life.

Zilla Panchayat member Ravikumar said that the facilities provided at the residential schools far exceed those available in private schools. The facilities need to be used to the hilt in order to realise the intent, he noted.

Planning Director Annayyappa called upon students to involve themselves in extracurricular activities as well.

He said that teachers should encourage students to evince interest in such activities.
Chairman of Zilla Panchayat Standing Committee on Social Justice, A D Avalappa, suggested students to acquire knowledge on the current affairs as well. Students can shape their future by developing ability to seek solutions to the problems bedevilling the society.
District officer for Backward Classes and Minorities, Muddukumar, District Social Welfare Officer C S Jayaram, principal Mahantesh were present.
