“The deployment of force in the Osmania University Campus has been done on the basis of intelligence inputs and on the basis of the requirement of forces depending on the calls being made by the Joint Action Committee of OU students and certain political leaders for specific events,’’ the government said.

Meanwhile, the Justice B N Srikrishna Committee has extended the date for submitting views on Telangana state issue till April 10 instead of March 31, as announced earlier.
