Vice principal thrashes Class 7 student

The vice principal of a private school thrashed a Class 7 student black and blue for not bringing textbooks and notebooks to the school. The incident occurred at Don Bosco school in the city on Monday.

According to Javed, vice principal Dominique beat up his son, Mohammed Saif, so severely that the boy had bruises on his thigh. He said Saif had been beaten up similarly in the past also. “The vice principal has thrashed 8-10 students similarly. When I questioned him, he tendered an apology. But there is no meaning in beating students black and blue and later tendering an apology,” Javed said. He added that the officials from the Education department too visited the spot after coming to know of the incident.
