Kalakshetra should not be allowed to become a decrepit hall. We should protect and nurture it for future,” Vimala said. <br /><br />Shanthala award winner Radha Sridhar said there is a need for a separate repertoire for classical dances on the lines of Ravindra Kalakshetra, which mainly caters to theatre activities.<br /><br />Theatreperson Srinivas Kappanna of Kalakshetra Cultural Committee expressed concerns over regular protests at Town Hall. <br /><br />“We have requested the police to prevent these protests,” Kappanna added.<br /><br /></p>
