With the Supreme Court’s order to seize the assets of the late former chief minister J Jayalalithaa, the big question is whether her posh Poes Garden residence too would be attached.
Jayalalithaa’s close aide and AIADMK general secretary V K Sasikala, who is also convicted in the DA case, was occupying the residence after the former chief minister’s death.
While, the outgoing chief minister had launched a signature campaign to convert the residence into a public memorial, AIADMK sources said leaders will decide on the issue after the formation of the government.
Meanwhile, security around Jayalalithaa’s house was withdrawn after Sasikala was convicted by the court.
