Traffic restrictions from tomorrow

The city traffic police have imposed traffic and parking restrictions in and around M Chinnaswamy Stadium from March 4 to March 8 in the view of the second Test match between India and Australia.

Vehicle parking will be banned on the following stretches between 7 am and  5pm: both sides of Queen’s Road between CTO Circle and Queen’s Circle, both sides of Mahatma Gandhi Road between Anil Kumble Circle and Queen’s Circle, on Link Road between Mahatma Gandhi Road and Cubbon Road, on Raj Bhavan Road from T Chowdaiah Road till Race Course Road, both roads adjoining the stadium, both sides of Central Street, from SBI Circle and Ashirvadham Circle on St Marks Road, from Mahatma Gandhi Road to St Marks Road and till Residency Road on Museum Road, from Queen’s Circle to Hudson Circle on Kasturba Road, from Siddalingaiah Circle to RRMR Circle on Mallya Road, in front of Press Club and Fountain Road, from Queen’s Circle till Grant Road Junction on Lavelle Road, on both sides of the stretch from BRV Junction to CTO Circle on Cubbon Road, from Siddalingaiah Circle till Bishop Cotton Girls’ School on Vittal Mallya Road and on the right side from Richmond Circle to Ashirvadham Circle on Residency Road.

Vehicles can be parked in the following areas from 7 am to 5 pm: St Joseph’s Indian School ground, St Joseph’s European School ground, BRV Parade ground and on the first floor of Shivajinagar bus stand. Police personnel who have been deployed around the stadium for bandobust duty can park their vehicles in front of the KGID building.

Spectators can enter the stadium through gate numbers 1 to 6 on Cubbon Road, gate numbers 7 to 11 on Link Road, from gate number 12 to 21 on Queen’s Road.
