A magistrate court in Mumbai cancelled the arrest warrant against Bollywood actor Sanjay Dutt for failing to appear the court to answer a complaint of criminal intimidation filed by producer Shakeel Noorani vis-a-vis an old dispute between them.

Though the warrant was bailable, he himself made an appearance before the Andheri metropolitan magistrate's court and did the formalities.

Noorani has filed a private complaint with the court demanding registration of a case against Dutt for criminal intimidation. The duo had a dispute as  Dutt had abandoned  'Jaan ki Baazi,' which he was producing in 2002, said. The actor did not even return the money already paid to him.

Noorani in the past had approached Indian Motion Pictures Producers Association which directed Dutt to pay back the money and later moved the Bombay High Court, seeking execution of the IMPPA's order. However, he received calls asking him to withdraw the complaint following which he moved the court.
