Hitachi sets south India as its new priority market

For Johnson Controls-Hitachi Air Conditioning India, South India is a priority market.
With 13% market share, Hitachi is one of the few brands in India which have revolutionised the industry landscape with its advanced technology, the company said in a press release.

“South India has been a priority market for us since a long time, and we are very bullish in capturing this market. Keeping up with the increasing demands of split ACs in Tier II and III markets, we have also launched two new ranges this year namely, Waza and Ridaa. These new stylish round edge design models offer best in class features like 100% cooling capacity that ensure less energy consumption, wide angle deflectors and powerful air flow which ensures that comfort and cooling in every corner of the room,” Raman Mishra (Regional Manager – South) said.

In its current product lineup, Hitachi offers approximately 36 new models of room air conditioners with 108 SKUs, the release added.
